The Spirit of God was indeed upon Jesus for He submitted to the leading of the Spirit throughout His life, spoke only those things He heard from the Father, carried out His Father’s will, and fulfilled every prophecy relating to His first advent.
Jesus did indeed preach the good news of salvation to the poor, proclaiming freedom from sin, Satan, death and hell—by faith in Him. He proclaimed freedom to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, and brought freedom to the oppressed. Now what will we indeed do?
