This Sunday, we pick up where we left off last week at the beginning of the third chapter of the apostle Paul’s epistle to the Galatians. Thus far, we have been reminded that our salvation is secured through Christ alone, and we have seen the apostle’s passion as he dealt with prejudicial attitudes in the church. Now Paul moves from the initial work of salvation, in which God declares us righteous, to the process of sanctification where God conforms us to Christ-likeness. He preaches that we are justified by faith and by the same faith, we are sanctified.
